Parisian Apartment Transformations: 70s Style and Space Capsule Living

In this episode of NEVER TOO SMALL, the team takes on the challenge of transforming a Parisian apartment into a space inspired by 70s furniture and the client's unique style. Architect Bertie Bourja works his magic by removing walls, opening up the kitchen and living area, and enhancing natural light throughout the space. The kitchen features oak cabinets and a polished concrete countertop, while the living room boasts Togo sofas and a blank wall perfect for a projector. The bathroom exudes simplicity with polished concrete walls and a terrazzo basin, creating a cohesive and stylish design that perfectly suits the client's needs.
Meanwhile, P Studio's Pierre tackles a different Parisian apartment, turning it into a compact yet functional space capsule. By merging two small studios, Pierre creates a seamless blend of living and working areas, optimizing every object for maximum efficiency. The design is inspired by the observatory, with a focus on facing the sky and utilizing the available space to its fullest potential. The entrance sets the tone with a high closet and a unique wooden shelf library, while the living room offers a comfortable sitting bench and a dining space perfect for various activities.
Both projects showcase the creativity and ingenuity of the architects in maximizing space and creating personalized, functional living areas. From open kitchens to cozy living rooms, each detail is carefully considered to meet the needs and preferences of the clients. The transformations not only breathe new life into the apartments but also demonstrate the power of thoughtful design in enhancing everyday living experiences.
